Fibo supports return to work in Construction sector
After several weeks of lockdown, the Prime Minister offered some words of clarity for the Construction and Manufacturing industries on Sunday evening (10/05/20)
“We now need to stress that anyone who can’t work from home, for instance those in construction or manufacturing, should be actively encouraged to go to work.”
More details from Parliament are expected today (11th May) along with a Q&A session this evening, but it seems clear that the way is open for the construction sector to cautiously re-start - with appropriate safety measures in place.
Fibo has remained open throughout the crisis, with remote staff available to support those customers needing help during this difficult time. We’re aware for example, of our panels being used in modular buildings to support essential services for care and other construction work.
As more of our customers open in response to demand, we will be slowly increasing staffing levels in our administration and sales teams, in line with government guidelines. Starting this week, we will be contacting our customers directly to understand how we can support them in the coming weeks.
We have good stocks of our wall panels, as our plant in Norway has continued to manufacture.
If you need further support from us, please do not hesitate to contact the Fibo admin team on 01494 771242, or your local sales representative.
